This policy is provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.


Change of mind returns

We offer a 30-day change of mind return period from the date you receive your item.

To be eligible for a change of mind return:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, uninstalled, and in original condition

  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and tags must be included

  • Proof of purchase is required

Change of mind returns are assessed against the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.

Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.


Automotive parts

Change of mind

Change of mind returns for automotive parts are accepted only where:

  • The part has not been installed, test-fitted, or modified

  • The part is returned in original packaging and in resalable condition

Change of mind returns are not available for:

  • Parts that have been installed or where installation has been attempted

  • Electrical parts once opened or connected

  • Custom-ordered or special-order parts

  • Sale or clearance items

Faulty or incorrect parts

If an automotive part is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact support@gtstreet.au as soon as possible.

All faults are assessed in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Where a major failure has occurred, you are entitled to a refund or replacement.
For a minor failure, we may choose to repair or replace the item.


Merchandise (apparel and accessories)

Change of mind

Merchandise items may be returned within 30 days where:

  • Items are unworn, unused, and unwashed

  • Original tags and packaging remain intact

Change of mind returns are not available for:

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Gift cards

Faulty merchandise

If a merchandise item is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.


Electronics and Apple CarPlay units

Change of mind

Due to the nature of electronic products, change of mind returns are not accepted for:

  • Apple CarPlay units

  • Head units, dash cameras, wiring looms, or other electronic accessories

Once electronic packaging has been opened, the item is considered used.

Installed electronics

Returns or refunds are not accepted for:

  • Electronics that have been installed or partially installed

  • Electronics damaged due to incorrect installation

  • Electronics installed by third parties

Installation services are non-refundable once work has commenced or been completed, except where required by law.

Faulty electronics

If an electronic product is faulty, contact support@gtstreet.au.

Faults are assessed in line with Australian Consumer Law.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as required by law.

Faults caused by incorrect installation, vehicle incompatibility not disclosed at purchase, modification, or misuse are not covered.


How to request a return

To request a return, contact support@gtstreet.au within 30 days of receiving your order.

Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method

  • Refunds are issued within 10 business days

Please note that banks and payment providers may take additional time to process refunds.
